Topic: Childhood Apraxia of Speech: Practical Assessment and Treatment Methods for Developing More Intelligible Speech

This one-day seminar will help you understand speech as movements, not just sounds, words and messages. It will provide you with the tools needed to diagnose this movement-based speech disorder. It will provide you with an understanding of research-based principles that guide "how to practice" in order to improve motor learning. And it will provide you with practical treatment methods that employ the principles of motor learning that can be used in every day treatment sessions with children with CAS.
